about

I’m a brand marketing and communications expert originally from Berlin, Germany. I have worked with some of the most iconic brands such as Nike, Heineken, MTV, Warner Music, Sixt, T-Mobile, and Apple. I also helped to create award-winning campaigns for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

With over 15 years of experience in brand communications, I know what it takes to craft a compelling story that will make your brand and product stand out from the rest. STRATEGY

 

Our markets are getting more and more crowded. Today’s hyper-connected and social consumers are having conversations that are open, honest, direct, funny and often shocking. The human voice is unmistakably genuine and can’t be faked.

As people are discovering and inventing new ways to share relevant knowledge about products and services, markets are getting smarter often times faster than most companies. Companies on the other hand are trying to stay in control of the branded conversation by simply being louder than everyone else, creating annoyance instead of excitement. But the market has learned to tune out aggressive branded messages.

Stories fascinate. Facts bore. Yes, facts are important, but stories make us care and when we care, we respond.

Neuroscience shows that pure facts only penetrate the speech center (about 5%) of the brain. Emotional stories on the other hand activate the whole brain and are being injected into conversations. People love to hear and share powerful stories.

I am currently leading the marketing team at Meta to bring their vision of the future of augmented reality to life by creating a highly emotional and authoritative brand, that connects technology with human desires.

 

 
 

As a co-founder of Cinnaholic, I created the brand and the customer experience. We pitched the concept on ABC’s Shark Tank and scaled it up to over 50 locations - currently opening all over the country.

 

 
 

I am leading brand building workshops for IndieBio, the world's biggest seed stage biotech accelerator, run by SOS Ventures. My work helped to create massive PR and raised several millions in investment capital.

 

I worked with BrandAds on building a high quality brand and outstanding product by leading communications and UX/UI. My work resulted in a multi-million dollar acquisition by Extreme Reach.
